Dan Keeler is founder and editor-in-chief at Frontier Markets News and the founder and host of FMN’s podcast.

Prior to founding FMN, Dan was Editor, Frontier Markets at the Wall Street Journal. He conceived and launched the frontier market coverage in early 2014, adding the well-regarded weekly Frontiers newsletter later that year. He also led the planning and editorial content development of a number of key events including the WSJ’s inaugural Africa conference and a joint event series with the Council on Foreign Relations.

Dan regularly speaks and moderates at conferences such as the IFC’s annual EM gathering and the Milken Global Conference. 

Prior to joining the WSJ Dan was the Editor of Global Finance magazine, where he steered the magazine’s coverage toward corporate responsibility and emerging markets. He is also founder of New York’s FM Network, a group that hosts gatherings of finance professionals focused on smaller emerging markets.
